Swiss–Hungarian–French curator Roxane Hemard is currently based in Paris, France. Her practice is shaped by an inherently multicultural perspective, informed by a life spent living across Asia, Australia, the United States, and the UK. Her formative years as a professional ballet dancer add a heightened awareness of movement, rhythm, and embodiment, qualities that shape her approach to materiality and storytelling in contemporary art. A foundation in Old Masters also informs her curatorial thinking, shaping a sensitivity to technique, gesture, and the enduring ideas that resurface across centuries, revealing how historical philosophies continue to find new life in contemporary art.

Roxane earned her BA in History of Art from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, followed by an MA in Italian Renaissance Painting from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London where she graduated in 2023. She has worked in galleries in New York, Paris and London.
